Bisexuality is not a phase

I've always loved sewing. I recently realized that for me the process itself is a way of helping me look into myself. While working on my patch for the quilt, I thought a lot about the courage and honesty that I am capable of in the eyes of myself and other people. Speaking out about my bisexuality through creativity is a step towards removing the taboo from this topic first of all for myself. I believe that the path and self-expression of every queer person is a part of a great process towards freedom and security.

Мне заўсёды падабалася шыць. Нядаўна зразумела што для мяне сам працэс гэта сродак дапамагаючы зазірнуць у сябе. Працуючы над сваім кавалачкам для квілта я шмат думала аб смеласці і сумленнасці, на якую я здольная перад сабою і людзьмі. Выказацца аб сваёй бісексуальнасці праз творчасць гэта крок да таго, каб зняць табу з гэтай тэмы ў першую чаргу для сябе самой. Я веру што шлях і самавыяўленне кожнага квір-чалавека гэта частка вялікага працэсу да свабоды і бяспекі.
